LDB IN SCHOOLS & COMMUNITIES

LDB in Schools & Communities

There are more than 1,000 different jobs in the Recording and Media Arts industries. The knowledge and skill sets involved in these industries are at the core of today’s Global Entertainment Industry. Music, Film, Internet, Graphic Design, Television and Video Gaming are just a few of the career paths available to practitioners of the exciting world of Music Technology & Recording Arts.

Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings, LLC. (LDB) has been facilitating workshops and developing recording arts programs since 2002. LDB’s Music Technology & Media Arts programs are facilitated at the company’s South Street studio and media facility, as well as at schools, community centers, libraries, convention centers, and festivals. Past students of Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings’ recording and media arts programs have gone on to develop their own businesses, attain internships within the entertainment industry, produce music for mix-tapes and CD releases, and produce video for broadcast on Fox 29.

The benefits to schools and community organizations that incorporate LDB’s Music Technology & Media Arts programs into their own programming are wide ranging. LDB’s programs tend to naturally compliment the service goals of non-profit organizations. The programs also attract, engage, encourage and motivate students, which has led to greater classroom participation at schools.

Student-produced CDs, DVDs, and other media are developed throughout the Music Technology & Media Arts program. This is great for archiving student achievement, as well as providing valuable work samples typically required for funding non-profit based initiatives. Media that has been produced through LDB’s programs has generated much needed funding for a number of the company’s strategic partners.

The costs of Lil’ Drummaboy Recordings’ Music Technology & Media Arts program vary by project. While consistently affordable, factors such as program duration, time requirements, number of students served, product output, and facility accommodations determine program costs.
