Hi Shawny, thanks for your interest in our program. Great question. Our students are diverse. Currently, we have students who are working on rock, industrial, hip-hop, singer-songwriter, house, punk, and more. Our program is one-on-one, so we approach each student where they are. We prefer not to use a cookie cutter approach. Hope this helps.

Hello! I was just wondering, does this school specialize in all genres of music? I do realize tha tin the real world, you don’t get to pick what kind of music you are going to record, but i am no ta big fan of rap. And after the reading the comments, i’m confused as to whether this school will only accept people that are looking to record in the rap genres. It sounds liek a wonderful school though and i am definitly interested, either way

Great question, Yahshin. Our audio engineering staff are all trained professionals. We do run a recording school, however, our students are not the ones that handle our commercial recording projects. That’s a separate program. We have hired several advanced students who have the experience and skill set to handle the majority of projects that come through our studio. You can be assured that you will receive the highest quality recording services available.

Hello Dariel, I appreciate your recent visit to our studio facility. As we discussed, our comprehensive program is a great overall program for producers and engineers at all levels of experience. We cover a lot of the fundamentals (i.e. frequency, physics of sound, compression techniques, etc.) that get overlooked these days. It is possible to take a few classes, but these would be outside of our regular certificate-based program. Also, building industry connections, and building a client base for your productions is a very involved process. It will take planning, networking, focus, and savvy web-based/social media marketing. These are topics that get addressed throughout the 3 levels of our program. As you well know, there are know guarantees for industry success. But, hard work, consistency, and a belief-in-self do pay off.

Hi Sean, yes we do teach Logic, Ableton Live and other software programs. Reason and Pro Tools are typically the primary tools that we use because they are very compatible with many professional studios. However, we realize that many home studio producers/engineers use a variety of software programs.

hay i like what you guys are doing and i think its very important for artist to be independent these days and im interested in comn down and lay a track to see how it is and support you guys,but my question is.if i spend my money for the studio time am i gona get an engineer who knws as little as i know or am i going to get some 1 that knows what there doing and is going to be able to transfer my ideas for what i want to do into the music.i just want to record my vocals with a professional sound.thanks…
